Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the Sweet Berry Farms pumpkin patch right after Halloween. We couldn't go before Halloween because Jaylie's counts were not high enough. It was really fun and they had tons of pumpkins still. They loved feeding the goats the very best! The girls got their faces painted and we all did the corn maze. It was lots of fun. It was a beautiful day too, a little windy at the beginning but turned into a nice warm day.

No evidence of Cancer!

(written yesterday morning)

We got Jaylie's MRI results today and it was good! No signs of cancer in her brain or spine! To say we are relieved is an understatement! We are still at the clinic and I still feel
nervous and shakey. For 2 weeks now we have been so nervous. In the brain tumor world we call it scanxiety. It's been bad and all these horrible thoughts and possible outcomes run through our minds. Now we can breathe a little easier till the next one in 3 months. Thank you everyone for the prayers. We know they work and we are so grateful that all of you so willingly help us and pray for her.

Briggs is doing a little better so they have held off on the surgery for now. They want him to be 10 or 11 pounds before they do the surgery, so as long as he is doing well they are going to hold off until he gets his weight up. Crazy times for our family but definitely a happy day for us!!

Halloween

Halloween was fun this year! Jaylies counts were still a little low so we had to be careful, but we were able to have fun! We went to the cancer clinics Halloween party that afernoon. They had fun things for the kids to do, pizza, cupcakes, carameled apples, and trick or treating on all the 4 floors of the clinic. It was lots of fun! After that we went home and rested till it was time for trick or treating that night. I'm so glad Jaylie was able to actually do stuff on Halloween!!

 Jaylie the Love Bug. She was so excited for Halloween this year. We went online looking at different costumes and she saw this one and knew she wanted it. I showed her a ton more and she wanted this one.  I must say, she looks pretty cute!

We went trick or treating around the neighborhood that night. Our good friends went around with us. Breklyn loves their daughter Abigail. It was fun!
