Thank you soo much to everyone who helped!! So many people donated slippers and money and we are so so grateful!! It helped brighten the day of cancer fighters. I heard there were even kids at clinic and in the hospital that were asking if there would be slippers this year :) Thank you for making Jaylie's wish to give slippers to these deserving kids and teens come true!! She was so excited every time slippers were sent or dropped off. She would go through every pair and comment on them, it was so cute! She loved it and we did too. This Christmas was a little crazy with all we had going on and with two of my three kids having surgery, but it was amazing! I love that we have the opportunity to do this slipper drive and that people are so good and help us out with it! Thank you everyone!!!!! I wish I could name off everyone, but there are just too many! So many people we are friends with, patients at my husband and dads dental office, people in the community and neighborhoods we have lived in, people in our church, High Hopes Preschool (Breklyns preschool), an Aggie group, the TaeKwonDo Training Center of Leander and strangers. Im sure there is more I am forgetting. We thank you!! Thank you for helping us make a difference this Christmas!! Next year we are going to collect earlier, in October and November, so that we can get the slippers up there at the first of December to put under the tree so they will be there all month when patients come in :) I think they will love that! Thank you!!!!!
Jaylie with her cousins Trey and Lexi
While we were up in Clinic, they passed out these goodie bags to Jaylie, Lexi and Trey. It turned out that they were from Jaxons Frog Foundation :) Lenzie had brought them up when we took the slippers and toys to the hospital. It was neat.
Jaylie with Aunt Kori
Jaylie with Uncle Scott. They brought slippers and cards from Nashville where they live!
Kori got a lot of letters and cards that people in Nashville wrote to cheer up the kids in clinic and the hospital :) So cool!!
Posing at home with some of the slippers before we took them to clinic.
Here are more pictures from when we delivered them to the hospital.
