Jaylie had surgery this morning to get the catheter port (its like a little bubble looking thing under her skin that they access instead of having to find a vein and do an iv every time, they give chemo, do blood work, etc. through the port) put in and they did a lumbar puncture (to check to see if there is cancer in her spinal fluid) at the same time. she did great and everything went well. We were in and out pretty fast. She was starving on the way home and wanted chicken noodle soup. We drove around and checked like 3 different places before we found some. She loved it! She has had a huge appetite all week, it's great. She's a little sore, but is doing well. I have so much more to write but don't have time, so hopefully I can tomorrow or something. I had a big long message written and was almost done and then it got lost somehow, I was so mad!
Kip and I want to thank everyone for all your service, support, and prayers. We appreciate it more than you will ever know.
My Sis in law Kori has been so awesome helping set up websites and things for Jaylie. There is a blog she set up that has the info on how to get on the website where people can see what things we need help with and you can sign up to help. It's jaylienielson.blogspot.com
I have always had a hard time accepting help from others so it's been hard to let people help, but we need it and can't do it without a lot of help. So thank you, thank you!!
Jaylie before her port surgery today. The doctors gave her some medicine so she was very sleepy before the surgery.
